Carthage is presently in a transition period between key master systems. All residence halls, the Todd Wehr Center, the N. E. Tarble Athletic, and Recreational Center, Hedberg Library, Fritsch Meditation Chapel, the David A. Straz, Jr. Center, and the Clausen Center are outfitted with a high-security Medeco key core system.

Most of Lentz Hall, A. F. Seibert Chapel, and the H. F. Johnson Center for the Fine Arts are on a Sargent core system.

Facilities Management is the source of all keys to campus locks and facilities. Keys are not issued without prior approval of the appropriate campus authorities. No Carthage key may be reproduced by anyone other than the authorized physical plant locksmith.

Important Notes
  • Keys are issued to a specific individual and remain the property of Carthage.
  • All keys must be returned at the end of your employment or tenure with Carthage.
  • Keys may not be transferred from one employee to another.
